Job Description

Job Summary: Eurofins BPT is seeking a remote Financial Analyst to join their team full time in Columbia, MO.

*this is a hybrid position in Columbia, MO. Candidates must live within a commutable distance.*

Job Duties: 

Responsible for revenue recognition and reporting of WIP, Deferred and Accrued Sales.Audits transactional contracts to ensure built and billed correctly.Ensure that billings of fee-for-service and FTE contracts, including pass-through costs, are accurate and timely.Assist in reducing Work in Process and Accrued Sales.Monitors capex spend to determine when assets are ready to be placed in service.Assist in the collection of Accounts Receivable by providing information to receivables staff.Assist in review and analysis of financial statements.Forecasts operating expenses and depreciation.Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly. Researches and prepares reports on subjects such as DSO, on-time payment analysis and ad-hoc needs.Tracks and follow up on Invoices Not Received and missing receipts in the Coupa procurement system.Review purchases, as needed, to ensure accurate coding.Assist with company audits and other special projects.Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related degree concentration2 years of relevant experienceExperience using Microsoft Excel formulasPrior experience with revenue recognition with WIP and Deferred Revenues is a plusAuthorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with overtime as needed.
