Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis delivers insights with expertise and business acumen that help steer the Enterprise. While the team does own deliverables on a standard monthly/quarterly cadence, no two months are the same as the team is focused on the ever-evolving storyline of the company’s performance and aspirations. Team members across all levels have high exposure to senior leaders, making a culture of innovation, storytelling, and diverse thinking key to the team’s success.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Put AXP’s Enterprise performance in the context of the competitive and macroeconomic environment. Synthesize key highlights from competitors’ earnings calls, conferences, and other related media for the CEO, CFO, and Executive Committee. Follow key macroeconomic trends and forecasts. Conduct ad-hoc analyses on a variety of competitive landscape areas. Build and leverage relationships across multiple teams and diverse group of stakeholders, this role is essential to Investor Relations, Enterprise Strategy, various business unit Strategy teams, and many more. Lead workstreams to get results and proactively engage with external data. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required Attention to detail with the skills for analytics - shown ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to draw improvement insights from large amounts of nuanced financial data Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills Superb organizational skills that will help you in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of deliverables Agile mentality – positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt and drive creative solutions with incomplete and nuanced data Strong sense of intellectual curiosity that will drive new and innovative ways of thinking Preferred Qualifications Internship or full-time experience in corporate finance, equity research, investment banking role is preferred Financial software (e.g. TM1, Power BI, and SQL) knowledge preferred CPA, CFA or equivalent credential is preferred MBA or equivalent preferred

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
