Financial Analyst

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst on our Commercial Execution Team, located in Naperville, IL.  This individual will be responsible for providing key financial controls and analysis surrounding critical commercial processes.  This is your opportunity to join a fast-growing sector offering competitive compensation and benefits.

You will have key responsibility for the management of the pricing and billing approval system.  When new business is generated by our field sales team and submitted for approval, you will analyze the pricing and gross margins for compliance within stated guardrails.  In addition, you will be responsible for approving the annual Billing Arrangement and Special Price Agreement renewals.  This position is in place as a key financial control to ensure profitable growth for our division.  This position is a complex process-based job, requiring excellent communication, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.

What You Will Do:

Review new business proposals, amendments to existing business, and annual renewals of existing business. Pricing and Gross Margin analysis including obtaining any necessary approvals based on pricing thresholds and reviewing for accuracy and process adherence.Day to day communication with Field Sales and Commercial Finance to understand details of business proposals and push back when necessary to ensure guardrails are followed.Review new customer setups to ensure proper pricing is applied to the customer’s new business proposals for pricing and gross margin, pushing back when necessary. Review annual existing business renewals for accuracy and price change.Engage in ongoing improvement of internal processes related to pricing and Billing Arrangement renewals.Participate on project teams / committees as necessary.Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within Nalco Water, Sales, Finance, and other internal departments to successfully maintain consistent processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field2 years of Finance and/or Accounting experienceNo immigration sponsorship available for this role
