Due to tremendous business growth we now have an opportunity for a commercially minded Analyst to join our Finance team in Chicago.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly plant reports for assigned business entitiesP&L review and analysisCashflow forecasting and preparation of projectsDrive preparation of annual budget and periodic forecastingPreparation of statutory accountsProvide strong financial reporting integrity and analytical review of commercial opportunities, ensuring proper maintenance of customer profitability models and new customer transactionsPrepare monthly financial reviews of customers, for management review and senior reporting, and coordinate ongoing customer profitability calculationsAssist in the annual budgeting process; and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriateOversee monthly plant reviews and presentations on resultsExperience, Skills and Qualifications:BS/CPA and a minimum of 2+ years' of Accounting experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reportingStrong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior managementAbility and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managersCapable of managing projects and time in order to meet crucial deadlines
