Summary :The Financial Analyst, Senior contributes to the overall financial performance of ThedaCare by demonstrating extensive industry and technical knowledge and providing analytical support to evaluate current and future business strategies and outcomes to operational and financial leaders. Compiles, analyzes, produces, and interprets information for the benefit of management and financial leaders. Serves as a liaison between the corporate office and operating facilities to timely translate analysis into actionable insights to drive value capture. Is responsible for management reporting, labor and productivity management, capital planning, and annual budgeting.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Builds successful partnerships with key internal customers and cross-functional teams.

Demonstrates an understanding of the healthcare financial environment and oversees market and industry trends in financial and business operations.

Prepares and reviews financial analysis, variance reports, and ad hoc reports.

Performs tasks requiring complex and more in-depth analysis to identify financial trends and reporting outcomes and variances.

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness with data.

Performs specifically-defined tasks related to the preparation of the annual operating budget.

Prepares and provides assistance with cost reports and other surveys.

Establishes collaborative relationships with other finance team members, and provides guidance and mentorship to other finance analysts.

Serves as a ThedaCare expert and resource for others on financial modeling and processes, and serves as a problem solver for others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or healthcare management

Five years of experience in accounting, finance, or decision analysis

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance

Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the facility

Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
