Job Title: Financial Analyst, Principal Job Description The Principal Financial Analyst will be responsible for owning the financial analysis and management of regulated utility activities across the Transmission business unit. They will support month-end close, forecast/budget processes, regulatory compliance, operational cost effectiveness, project execution, and process improvement. The role requires strong financial analysis expertise and the ability to provide strategic insights to support decision-making and financial planning. Responsibilities + Identify, analyze, and communicate to management the impact on the Company's financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position using relevant analytical methods and forecasting models. + Provide financial analysis support for various projects, including financial impact on capital expenditure investments. + Offer expertise, support, and financial training to company departments that require these services. + Perform financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies. + Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Sr and Executive Management. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or other technical field required. + MBA, CPA, or other relevant graduate degree highly desirable. + 7 or more years of utility or other relevant experience required. + Knowledge of basic accounting principles. + Ability to read and analyze financial statements. + Prior experience in financial planning and analysis. + Previous experience in the regulated utility industry. + Experience using SAP reporting tools such as BPC/BOBJ. + Familiarity with Utilities International (UI) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
