Location: Pretoria
Our client in the Health Industry is looking to hire a Financial Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Addressing and resolving queries timeously and effectively
· Accurate monthly management accounts
· All transactions for the month captured accurately and are completed.
· Maintain general ledger.
· Completion of monthly VAT returns
· Fixed Asset Register in collaboration with Procurement Manager
· Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
· Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and financial yearend.
· Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Review general ledger to identify outlying transactions.
Skills and Requirements
· Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
· A relevant tertiary qualification (A BCom or similar degree or diploma).
· A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ accounting experience in a healthcare environment.
· Previous experience in dealing with VAT and Income Tax matters
· Knowledge of Pastel Accounting Software
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly, MS Excel skills (formatting, sorting, basic math’s, filter, lookup values, conditional values etc.)
· Relevant computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
