Financial Accountant Were a thriving team passionate about working together to deliver excellence, all in a natural forest environment.Welcome to Center Parcsthe number one choice for short break holidays, employing a team of over 10,000 across Head Office and six separate villages located in the UK and Ireland.FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT50,000 per annum plus 12% bonus schemeHybrid role with both office based and home workingThis is an exciting opportunity to join us as Financial Accountant.This is a hybrid role within the Groups Head Office Finance function, reporting to the Group Tax and Financial Accountant.The position holder will provide support to the Group Tax and Financial Accountant in respect of technical accounting, the preparation of statutory financial statements, cashflow budgeting and forecasting, preparing and reviewing SOX controls, managing the day-to-day relationship with the Groups banks, as well as managing and developing a team.The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail is required for this role, along with a broad understanding of UK VAT and Corporation tax. The ability to interact and work successfully as part of a small team will be required.HOURS OF WORKYou will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
