**Team/Role Overview**
The Finance Programme Group, is responsible for the successful delivery of regulatory and cross-business transformational Initiatives as part of Citi’s Transformation. This role, as a member of the Finance Transformation Office, will Provide on-the-ground support to teams to help accelerate critical initiatives manage one or more critical projects within the Finance PG Initiatives, ensuring that best practices and Citi standards are utilised to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global environment.
The Project Manager will be focused on project execution for key streams of the overall delivery, and requires an experienced project/programme manager with a strong track record in delivering complex solutions in Capital Markets, Market Risk or regulatory transformation. The role requires experience in scoping, developing and prioritising plans with an ability to drive understand different perspectives and work effectively across a global organisation. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, as well as an ability to conduct in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions
Preference for candidates who have led programmes in Risk Weight calculation and data remediation or led Capital Policy implementations or have prior Capital Controller experience.
**What you’ll do**
Impactful project management for successful delivery of key regulatory requirements. Responsibilities and priorities will reflect the needs of specific workstreams and will evolve over time, however the following are some of the specific responsibilities expected of this role:
+ Leads planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities to deliver key project(s), with a ruthless management of critical path.
+ Provides strategic direction and feedback with respect to, alignment to business goals, stakeholder management, executive communications and so on.
+ Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders, organisations and business heads.
+ Identifies and drives resolution of issues, including those outside established programmes of work.
+ Collaborates with Senior Management on cross functional areas and other programmes, as appropriate.
+ Manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, to escalate and resolve on a timely basis.
+ Manages the identification of risks which impact programme delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
+ Manage internal and external dependencies, including working closely with stakeholders in risk, lines of business, technology and data.
**What we’ll need from you**
+ Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or other business related field of study
+ Relevant work experience Appropriate industry knowledge & delivery track record.
+ Appropriate industry knowledge, including Capital Management/Market Risk transformation.
+ Knowledge and expertise in Programme Management, including Project Management and/or management reporting and analysis.
+ Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
+ Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
+ Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
+ Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
+ Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
