Finance Specialist II (Partial Remote) - Payroll Services **Galveston, Texas, United States** **New** Business, Managerial & Finance UTMB Health Requisition # 2404703 **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and 1 year related experience **Job Summary:** To provide transactional, budget, and analytical support with minimal supervision. Coordinates special projects, presentations and provides technical expertise regarding financial activities. **Job Duties:** + Work on payroll production processes and other monthly deliverables for tax and reporting + Provide customer service support and issue resolution for employees, retirees, departments, managers, and timekeepers throughout the Institution. + Research and work in payroll-related systems including Kronos, Teletime, Hyperion, Equifax Workforce Solutions, USAS, PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleSoft FMS, TRS, Tax Navigator, and OBIEE + Provide transactional and analytical support for multiple functions or departments Provide excellent customer service and support for the Institution + Prepare reports and ad hoc analysis for management Assist in coordination, preparation, and analytical review of the University’s monthly financial reports + Partner with HR, IS and other departments, as well as other Institutions within UT System Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and UT System rules and regulations + Provide productivity data and metrics for management + Provide financial information that enables management to make informed decisions Adhere to appropriate internal controls for the department; provide mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance + Perform related duties as required **Salary Range:** Actual salary commensurate with experience. **Work Schedule:** Partial remote - Four days a week remote, being onsite one day a week.
