Finance Project Manager

Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Project/Program Manager with a background in Business and Financial Management to support the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) Business and Financial Management Branch. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activity's and agency's needs. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans.
+ This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources.
+ Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
+ 10-15 years relevant experience in Navy Financial Management (FM)
+ SME-level experience in Budgeting, Briefing, and Defense at the OPNAV and Congressional levels
+ Communication and Briefing Skills at the SES/Flag Level
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ 20+ years relevant experience in Navy Financial Management (FM)
+ Conceptual Knowledge of U.S. Navy Undersea Warfare (USW) systems
+ Demonstrated Knowledge of SHAPM/PARM working relationship
+ Demonstrated Experience balancing a complex multi-appropriation portfolio
+ Demonstrated Experience with cost/schedule performance as it relates to program execution
+ Demonstrated Experience in task planning and its translation to program execution
+ Demonstrated Experience working in a program office at Naval Sea Systems Command
+ Demonstrated Program Management Experience running a mixed team of subcontractors
+ Demonstrated Knowledge of DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) including Acquisition Plans (APs) and Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs)
**HIRING SALARY RANGE:** $120,000 - $175,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
