We are seeking a professionally qualified and experienced strategic-minded Finance Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial risks, improving financial controls, and supporting business operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting.Monitor financial transactions and processes to identify inefficiencies, errors, or discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and disclosures for accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews, providing documentation and support as required.Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize the organization's financial resources.Monitor bank accounts, cash balances, and cash flow projections to ensure adequate funding for operations and investments.Execute treasury operations, including cash disbursements, cash receipts, and investments, in accordance with established policies and procedures.Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems, software, and technology solutions.Collaborate with IT and finance teams to identify system requirements, design workflows, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as credit risk, liquidity risk, and foreign exchange risk.Monitor financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization's financial stability.Establish and maintain insurance coverage and risk management programs to protect the organization against financial losses.Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings and optimize vendor relationships.Continuously evaluate financial processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement.Implement initiatives to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance efficiency in financial operations.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of financial operations and drive performance improvement. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
