Harris Hill is recruiting for a Finance Officer for this Well-established Charity based in London (Hybrid)

Position: Full TimeLocation: London and home workingHybrid Working: For the 1st 6 months, 3 days a week is required at their offices in Central London, then they are more relaxed.Salary: £28,000pa - £31,000pa depending on experienceTraining: They support accountancy study costs

Key responsibilities:

Process income and expenditure transactions ensuring accurate coding Run the purchase ledger processes for prompt payment, after budget holder approval.Work with the Finance Manager on the preparation of VAT returns.Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts.Assist with the preparation and review of the annual budgets.Support the Finance Manager with internal Finance Audits.Prepare all bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.Bank weekly donations.Be the first point of contact for the Finance Team for all queries.

Education or Experience

AAT qualification  Experience of accounting procedures Experience of managing own workload effectively and planning and organising work to meet deadlinesExperience of working on financial software Ability to see tasks through from start to finish, even when they are repetitive and routine Confident in using finance systems and processes to give advice on routine day to day issues
