ONE WORLD OBSERVATORY
Positioned at the top of One World Trade Center—the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere—on levels 100, 101, and 102, One World Observatory provides guests with unique, panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites, and surrounding waters from 1,250 feet. A customized guest experience complements the seemingly endless views—evoking feelings of the City’s signature pride, hope and determination (including special interactive experiences and dining options, plus a sit-down restaurant). THE ROLE
The Finance Manager oversees, monitors, and analyzes capital and operating budgets – including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and AD HOC business analyses for the regional Legends Attractions venues outside.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with Director, Finance to prepare operations analysis and reports Work with Accounting Manager and AP Clerk to maintain cohesive processes Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders Participate in month-end activities including the preparation/review of journal entries and variance analyses Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled with resolution to reconciling items Manage Monthly AR invoicing and aging reports Analyze monthly balance sheet and P&L figures to prepare comments and expose performance trends Reconcile bank activity, Managing weekly incoming wire and check reconciliations. Manage the processes which ensure accurate and timely financial statements and month end close. Oversee the inventory process and perform in-depth cost of goods analysis. Daily reconciliation of cash and credit card transactions Ensure a timely and accurate month end closing process Assist venue General Managers with preparing weekly forecast reports Develop and coordinate automated accounting applications and processes Perform other duties as assigned by leadershipQUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Minimum of two (2) years’ experience – preferably in the hospitality industry Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g., Excel; Word) Knowledge of Point of Sales and payroll systems – a plus A thorough understanding of, and the ability to, review contractsSKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess excellent organizational skills and the highest attention to detail Must be highly analytical, possess the ability to think creatively, and to understand complex business dynamics Mastery of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively prioritize based on business need Ability to work, and perform, in a deadline-driven environment Must be flexible and able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidaysCOMPENSATION
$85,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience) and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
