If you’re a Plant Finance Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position will be a strategic business partner to our Industrial segment’s leadership team by accurately measuring and forecasting operational performance and relevant KPIs through analysis and recommendations of the Fort Collins plant (“Lincoln Plant”). You will monitor plant operational and financial performance and establish standard processes and drive a culture of continuous process improvements.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide overall financial support to the Vice President of Operations for the Lincoln Plant.Responsible for annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly closing and reporting and variance analysis for Lincoln plant. Prepare accurate and timely plant management reporting package and lead monthly financial operational reviews with the Lincoln plant management.Assist ETFS BU Head of Finance in managing BU financial performance, demonstrating full ownership of the plant manufacturing metrics and inventory metrics.Provide visibility to plant operational and financial KPIs scorecard and consistently report actual performance vs clearly established targets, such as OEE metrics, material price and usage variance, labor rate and efficiency, overhead variances, productivity metrics, COPQ metrics, fulfillment metrics, inventory metrics.Provide accurate and timely manufacturing variances explanation. Proactively engage with plant management team to identify initiatives and drive actions to improve plant performance and close gap to deliver the budget.Ongoing review of cost structure and resource planning to optimize plant costs.Active participant in the integrated business planning process, working cross functionally to validate capacity assumptions in the S&IOP process for the Lincoln plant.Laison with Accounting COE for the Lincoln plant. Attend plant monthly Accounting COE closing call to ensure accuracy and consistency of closing process. Review financial metrics and trends to spot inaccuracies and then work with Accounting COE to correct as needed.Work closely with plant management team and Industrial automation team to validate capex project business plans and return on investment. Validate actual results vs plan.Standardize plant financial and operational KPIs and metrics, establishing one source of truth. Work closely with the other Industrial BU plants to ensure consistency of reporting and validation of methodology / definitions. Develop/execute on a roadmap to improve key data and process accuracy, such as labor vouchering, standard routings, etc.Support in the upcoming SAP rollout and document the business requirements for the Lincoln plant.What We Are Looking For
3 years of financial experience managing a large complex industrial manufacturing operation. Demonstrated career progression across finance roles (FP&A, Manufacturing /Supply Chain Finance background preferred).Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business required.Strong knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and cost accounting.Six Sigma / Lean experience.Strong working knowledge of business reporting tools such as Power BI.Ability to work cross functionally in a highly matrixed global team.Application window is anticipated to close 30 days from original posting date.
