PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Finance Manager budgets and forecasts for all business sites. This position is also responsible for the monthly expense analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Forecasts revenue and profit at the project and company levelCoordinates with sites to update monthly EAC’s and provide updated forecasts to managementReviews monthly expenses for sites and update forecastsPrepares monthly financial reports for General ManagerPerforms analysis on monthly basis to assure yearly financial goals are being met, provide variance reportsMonitors and tracks opportunities and proposals through salesforceReviews and approves monthly project invoices for submittalTracks project status in Sharepoint/TM1Reviews contract Modifications for accuracy and works directly with corporate finance to assure correct implementationProvides financial support to site managersSupports project CDRL’s on a quarterly basisReviews and submits office expenses to Corporate Accounts Payable Works with sites to update yearly budgets , Annual Operating Plan inclusive of Revenue, GM, G&A and OverheadThe Finance Manager may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organizationAssist and work with project account to set-up projects in cost pointSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and evaluates subordinate support personnel. Sets daily workloads and manages employee time effectively.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze financial and contractual documents such as Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (MODS/Awards), ledgers, purchase order reports, invoices, revenue worksheets, non-labor reports, PSRs, labor reports, aging report, COGNOS Reports including Statement of Indirect Expenses, General Ledger, Timesheet History Report, Billing History, and procedure manualsAbility to generate routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Position requires interaction within the department on routine matters and externally through purchasing and property personnel.Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform; general decisions are made to solve a problem or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of operation.QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS Degree desired and least >10 years of task related experience OR Associate Degree required with 15 years equivalent work experience as an alternateStrong database experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Hands-on experience with government audits and DCAA compliance, with demonstrated expertise with CAS 403, 410, and 418, required. Thorough knowledge of FAR and CAS and experience in IDIQ and CPFF contracts. Costpoint or comparable project management system experience preferred.Experience with government contracting and DCAA compliance is preferred.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security ClearancePREFERENCE STATEMENT
