Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently seeking an experienced Finance Manager with mining experience to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities:

Contribute essential input towards the development of the Finance strategy. Serve as a primary source of financial data for strategic decisions and tracking the execution of the Finance strategy. Create, update, and uphold financial policies and standard operating procedures. Ensure adherence to legal requirements and alignment with the overarching strategic and business objectives. Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax regulations, including Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and the Royalty Act. Implement, evaluate, and manage commercial agreements on the mine, particularly regarding off-take contracts. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual assessments to maintain strong financial controls across debtors, creditors, cashbook, general ledger, payroll, timekeeping, operational and quarterly reports, and the five-year financial plan. Supervise monthly reporting of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow to external stakeholders. Manage financial reporting processes to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and conform to IFRS and relevant industry standards.

Requirements:

Grade 12 BCom Degree in Accounting or equivalent. Honours or Post Graduate Degree in Accounting CA(SA) registered. MUST have experience working within the MINING INDUSTRY. 7 years’ experience in Financial Management/Accounting (Completed Articles) 3 years’ management experience
