Finance Lead - EY Global Delivery Services

We are looking for an Associate Director to lead Finance team in EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) in LATAM. The GDS Finance Lead will be responsible for the effective management, quality service delivery and day to day operations of Finance teams in GDS LATAM. The individual will have strong financial experience and demonstrable business acumen and will provide guidance and support to our team in their daily activities. There are three main components to this role:

Maintaining a strong financial knowledge as well as EY’s business operating model, in order to guide GDS Finance teams on the challenges they encounter while supporting their stakeholders Ensuring the effective management of GDS Finance teams including recruiting, training, scheduling and performance counselling Acting as a critical liaison between the team, Global Finance leadership, GDS leadership and other Finance sub-functions.

Your key responsibilities

 

As an Associate Director your key responsibilities will include the following:

 

You will cooperate with regional Finance teams to co-develop effective solutions for GDS Finance stakeholders that are aligned to the objectives of the Global Finance and the GDS You will co-ordinate and participate in the recruitment of GDS Finance team personnel You will help deliver the effective onboarding and ongoing training of GDS Finance resources to ensure teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge and Trusted Business Advisor (TBA) skills You will oversee GDS Finance knowledge sharing communities to help the effective sharing of best practice across the teams You will have overall responsibility for the quality of service delivery, ensuring that there are effective procedures in place to direct the day to day running of the teams including team scheduling You will provide coaching and guidance to GDS Finance resources to support them on service delivery You will hold key relationships with GDS Finance stakeholders to monitor and maintain delivery of exceptional client service You will lead the GDS Finance counsellor network and be in charge of performance management processes.

 

Skills and attributes for success

You are fluent in English – written and verbal You have minimum 10 years of managerial/leadership experience in a corporate organization within the finance function Ability to with lead continuous improvement methodologies and have participated in process optimization projects across finance You have excellent listening and communication skills and demonstrate appreciation and respect of varying cultures You have strong relationship building skills, driving interactions that build trust and manage expectations of stakeholders and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation You have a strong understanding of financial processes including planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis, reporting and finance advisory You have experience in effectively leading teams and coaching junior team members.
