Finance Intern - Paid - Meetinghouse Facilities (IFS)

The Meetinghouse Facilities Finance Intern in IFS helps Church employees and external vendors provide dignified facilities where individuals can meet to focus on Jesus Christ.  This individual will be working on a team of three and within a larger team of over twenty-five that is directly involved with Meetinghouse Facility expenses domestically in the U.S.  This is an hourly position which is generally 40 hr./wk., 8 hrs. per day.  The position includes a hybrid work arrangement which is two days/week remote work and three days/week on-site work in the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City.  This arrangement could change according to business needs.  It is expected that interns live locally.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the largest departments of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Responsibilities include:

Audit Employee purchase card expenses - Help ensure IFS employees follow finance controls.  Auditing completion of Work Orders Maintain Power BI Reports that are crucial for IFS Management decisions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Qualifications include:

Be pursuing a Finance or Accounting bachelor’s degree. Be available for the entire internship period starting September 3, 2024, and ending December 20, 2024. Excel skills and knowledge (e.g., X-Lookups, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, formulas). Coursework in Spreadsheet Analysis for Business. When working remotely, must have an environment where productivity can be maintained, Church equipment can be kept safe, and work can be kept confidential

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
