Axalta operates its business in two operating segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, serving four end markets, including:  Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across the following four regions: North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

The Director, Operations Finance – COE and Strategy will be responsible for the following:

Strategic Finance Business partner to the SVP Transformation Office and the COE Team.Provide strategic finance support to key Operations related projects impacting Axalta sites.Provide guidance to all Operations Finance personnel at the sites and our HQ location to ensure consistency in performance management, analytics and planning Operations globally for Axalta.Own the Manufacturing costing strategy and the maintenance for all sites and provide strategic guidance to Operations Finance and Accounting Teams on Manufacturing costing matters as needed.Enable best practice sharing between Axalta`s various sites for Operations and Supply Chain Finance topics.Own all Operations Finance related metrics, reporting standards, and master data structures.

Work Location: This role requires a hybrid onsite work presence at Axalta’s global headquarters in Philadelphia, PA and is eligible for relocation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a leading institution in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar quantitative discipline.Minimum of 10-15+ years of work experience in business unit financial analysis specific to FP&A operations finance.Experience working for a leading global manufacturing business in a public company or private equity backed company environment.Proven success in operations analysis preferably at the major manufacturing site level.Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, financial accounting and financial reporting.Exceptional financial acumen including strong analytical, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.A proven track record as an effective business partner with a strong internal customer service focus.Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with SAP and business intelligence / data visualization tools (SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects, Tableau and / or Microsoft Power BI) a plus.Travel required: approx. 20% (domestic & international).
