Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Finance Data Analyst who will support the organization by analyzing a variety of data sources and producing meaningful reports and analytics that will help steer the strategic direction of the company. This role is responsible for data gathering, report development, quality assurance, and analysis of both regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports. The Data Analyst will work closely with various teams to assist with data requests, build out data sets, create dashboards, and provide routine reporting and analytics. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement analytical frameworks and methodologies to extract actionable insights from complex datasets * Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support * Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to non-technical audiences * Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data collection methods, and automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency * Perform data gathering, cleaning, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity * Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions * Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs * Provide support for ad hoc data requests and special projects as needed
