The Client:
A growing venture capital firm, is searching for a passionate and ambitious finance controller to join the team in an exciting time of growth.

The Role:
Finance Controller duties will include but are not limited to:

Managing all financial/accounting operations for the organizationPreparing cashflow forecastingSupporting with fund management and month-end / year-end close processingCoordinating the preparation of budget and financial forecastsManaging relevant external suppliers, including accountants and financial/tax advisersEnsuring regulated entities meet obligations (i.e., reporting)Supporting on investment close process, including onboarding, deal execution and funds flow

The successful candidate will:

Be a self-starter and happy to be hands-on from the first dayHave a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar roleHold a relevant accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent - required)Have excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentBe a team player and have the willingness to challenge yourself and others to make the greatest impact as a businessBe highly confidential and discreteBe a good problem-solver and able to think on your feetHave experience in accounting and/or other professional services (preferred)

The Details and Benefits:

Salary up to £50k depending on experience (pro-rata)This role is part-time 2-3 days/week and is fully-office based, with offices based in IslingtonThe client are open to candidates on a part-time basis to begin with.
