Finance / Capital Project Manager Lead
Position Overview International Motors has an exciting opportunity for a Finance / Capital Project Manager Lead. In this role, you’ll be part of the Research and Development group, in a lead position supporting acquisition of capital items. This includes working with a cross functional teams from vehicle validation test sites. Activities include strategic analysis, financial planning, budgeting along with forecast/actual analysis. You’ll be instrumental in helping our sites get the equipment and improvements needed to achieve future goals. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Responsibilities This position is focused on acquisition of needed Capital items to support Vehicle Test Sites. Facilitate and participate in the Capital Acquisition Process. Analyze financial reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making. Assist in the preparation of deliverables for the Operations Capital Board. General Project Management (Scope, Timeline, Cost and Budget). Foster productive cross functional working relationships across multiple test sites and departments (Accounting, Finance Operations, Procurement). Drive and support process improvement through effective collaboration and partnership. Prepare monthly allocation for Acctng accruals & spend forecast for Finance dept. Support monthly budget forecast / variance analysis, including causals. Lead special projects, as assigned in connection with the team goals and strategy. Inspire trust and confidence with business partners and team. Planning and forecasting Budget. Process tracking - % completion with target dates. Documentation of Actual Spend vs Forecast. Project / Process management. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 5 years of project/program management experience OR Master’s degree At least 3 years of project/program management experience OR At least 7 years of project/program management experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including skills to work effectively in a team environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PPT. Knowledge of data visualization strategies to explore, analyze, visualize, and present data (software such as Tableau or Power BI are a plus) Awareness of and experience working in the corporate Finance & Accounting process. Reliable at meeting deadlines and strong sense of urgency Excellent time management and organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task.
