A phenomenal opportunity exists to join our Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) & Mature Commercial Engines (MCE) Warranty team in the role of Finance Associate Director at our East Hartford, CT Campus, currently working in an on-site work environment.
The GTF & MCE Warranty business, which is part of the GTF Aftermarket organization, continues to grow in scope and visibility in line with Pratt & Whitney's GTF engine production, delivery ramp, and increasing aftermarket demands. GTF & MCE Warranty also continues to support all commercial models (V2500, PW4000, PW2000, GP7000, PW1100, PW1500 and PW1900). This is a unique opportunity at Pratt & Whitney to gain financial experience on all commercial products across all phases of the engine life cycle with a unique financial perspective into the P&L: New engine Service Policy, guarantees related to reliability, performance, durability, and cost, and non-contractual support and at the same time play a big part in the financial success of Commercial Engines (CE).
As the Finance Associate Director, your leadership is essential for the operations of our GTF & MCE Warranty group.
You'll ensure high quality management of the rapidly growing Warranty provision with an increased focus on liability/risk forecasting and driving CE profitability. You’ll have ownership for managing the Warranty provision for all of Pratt & Whitney’s commercial engine models operating under Time & Material – GTF (all programs), V2500, PW4000, PW2000, and GP7000.
Managing the GTF & MCE Warranty reserve includes all elements of the warranty business: New engine Service Policy, Guarantees related to reliability, performance, durability, and cost, and non-contractual support.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Ensure the GTF & MCE Warranty reserve is sufficiently funded to cover all warranty related obligations, both near term and long term
+ Financial reporting of GTF & MCE Warranty provision and spend forecasting, Operational Management Meeting (OMM) reporting, and provision support to Accounting and other financial functions at Pratt & Whitney
+ Lead the Quarterly Reserve Adequacy reviews and developing and implementing warranty provision analytics for the engine programs with Finance leadership and Accounting leadership
+ Coordinate between GTF & MCE Warranty and Accounting for normal operations, including support of internal & external audits
+ Support and compile the collaborator expense forecasts and fielded inquiries from collaborating partners for Warranty
+ Financial support for all Warranty Customer Managers’ related requests
+ Lead continuous improvement activities for the Warranty group
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience to include finance, accounting and contract review or an Advanced degree and 10 years of experience to include finance or accounting and contract review.
+ Customer relationship management experience
+ U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Advanced degree in Finance or MBA
+ Basic engine operation, overhaul, and/or fleet management skills
+ Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels within the CE Warranty team and across the CE organization, including executive management
+ Project management skills
+ SAP experience for data reporting and analysis
+ Experience working in a dynamic fast paced environment
+ Ability to work efficiently within Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
