Finance Associate
Responsibilities

We are seeking an associate with 4+ years of experience to join our project development and finance practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in US project development and finance, particularly with distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects. Key responsibilities include:

Handling principal financing documentation typical in project financings, such as purchase agreements, partnership agreements, credit agreements, security and pledge agreements, and depositary agreements. Managing key commercial project documentation, including development agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, site control, and interconnection agreements. Conducting comprehensive due diligence for energy projects.

The firm requires working from the office 3 days per week.

Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law or ability to become licensed in Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., New York, or California. Minimum of four years of substantive experience in project finance, specifically within a law firm environment. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex financing and commercial documents. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and provide high-quality service to demanding clients. Exceptional multitasking abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines. Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
