About the Role:
As a Finance/Accounting FP&A professional at PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll be a key player in bridging the gap between finance, operations, and technology teams within the aerospace industry. You’ll help resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and provide valuable financial insights to enhance cost management. Key Responsibilities:

Liaison Role: Act as the primary point of contact between finance, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, CSR, shipping, receiving, and digital technology teams, ensuring smooth and accurate data flow and compliance with QA processes. Monitor & Troubleshoot: Ensure financial data integrity by troubleshooting system transactions in JDE, resolving discrepancies in inventory movement, work order movement, invoicing, and cost allocations. Cost Oversight & Analysis: Participate in TIER meetings, provide financial insights on labor costs, material variances, and work order discrepancies, and collaborate to implement improvements that optimize cost efficiency. Finance Reporting & Closeout: Assist in month-end closeouts, journal entries, and cost allocation reporting, ensuring data accuracy across financial systems. Audit & Reconciliation: Spot audit journal entries, cycle counts, and work order closures to ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved and costs are tracked appropriately. Cross-functional Collaboration: Improve processes across functional teams, communicate with sister sites, and ensure smooth ERP system transitions to maintain accurate financial reporting.

Required Qualifications:

Strong background in finance, payroll, and cost analysis. Experience in MRO operations is preferred. Proficiency in journal entries, financial auditing, SOX compliance, and work order reconciliation. Expertise in JDE, Excel, and financial reporting tools. Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiency. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility with hours to ensure smooth communication and financial transition across systems. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Pay Details: $59.23 per hour
