Job summary – What to expect:
Working as our Finance Analyst within the UK Manufacturing site, you will be responsible for elements of financial reporting, cost control and analysis within the UK Manufacturing division. You’ll be interacting with wider finance teams and relevant business departments and cost centres, providing stakeholders with impactful data to drive business performance.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Monitor and report expenditure by indirect cost centres. Monitor and reconcile raw material transactions. To reconcile and allocate costs across the business. To assist with capital, spend projects analysis. To assist with budgets and forecasts. To perform balance sheet reconciliations. Post journals and provide support for wider team. To assist with month end activities. To perform any other duties as required (Duties may also be modified over time).
About you:
You’ll be a minimum of AAT qualified or possibly a graduate, who has studied a degree relevant to this role and has knowledge and experience of accounting in a large organization.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, working to multiple deadlines, and operating under pressure. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and have a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have a high level of Excel ability as this will be a core programme which is used on a daily basis.
