Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your financial expertise to support your assigned organization. On a daily basis, you will compile and analyze key metrics, identify trends and challenges, and effectively communicate your findings to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will demonstrate your proficiency by recommending actionable strategies to enhance the financial performance of a specific business unit.The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Local Division Energy Industries in Minden.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tConducting analyses of business performance against budget and forecast, and proposing appropriate improvement actions.•\tEnsuring the accuracy and quality of financial data and business information in accordance with established standards and financial closing schedules.•\tPreparing financial analyses, reporting insights to business managers, and offering recommendations to enhance performance.•\tDeveloping and managing processes and tools to ensure the transparency and reliability of financial data and business information.•\tRegularly reviewing the Project Financial Execution Plan (including billing plan, revenue recognition plan, payment securities, consortium administration, cost-to-complete assessments, etc.) for customer projects.•\tAssisting in the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.Our team dynamics You will join a high performing and strongly empowered team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

At least 2 years of experience in a finance role (experience in project controlling is an advantage)Hands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g., SD, CO, PS, FI)Strong focus on accuracy and reliability, combined with a willingness to take on responsibilityA collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skillsFluency in both German and EnglishA bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
