FINANCE ANALYST III - MFG & OPERATIONS

Job Overview

 

The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (ADM) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for Plant Financial Analyst supporting the Mt. Joy plant located in PA (Rt. 230 and Rapho Park). This position will report to the Mt Joy Plant Controller, supporting them to drive strong cost controls and opportunities for operational efficiencies. The individual will focus on standard costing, reporting and analytics driving enhanced visibility into Operations performance, and enabling actions to drive performance improvement. The financial analyst will also collaborate with other AD&M finance team members, finance shared services, and the Mt. Joy Operations team to achieve plant financial objectives. Another key element of the role is to improve financial knowledge and controls within Operations ensuring 100% compliance with TE financial policy and increased awareness amongst non-Finance functions.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Position:

 

Operational Finance reporting, financial analytics, month-end close activities Drive reporting improvements, streamline processes, and empower the plant team to utilize data to inform decision-making and improvement actions Analyze plant spend, recovery and Earned hours.   Prepare and present weekly plant financial outlooks to finance and operations leadership Support plant controller in establishing budgets, quarterly forecasts, and weekly outlooks Review TEBIT savings projects and Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).  Drive optimal capital investments in the plant.  Support analysis for manufacturing cost improvement and Capacity expansion. Perform analysis and reporting on Inventory, WO variances, Standard Costs, PPV, Scrap/PFO, WIP, CIP and Subcontracts. Work with operational and procurement partners to ensure accurate standard costs are maintained for all manufactured and purchased products Perform tasks in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and accounting policies to maintain a strong control environment for inventories, fixed assets, capital, and other areas Lead asset management, asset transfer efforts, and inventory accuracy Support and mentor Mt. Joy FDP analysts.

Required:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment Exposure to costing fundamentals Understanding of financial drivers and their impact within a manufacturing environment Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint Critical thinker with strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred:

 

Experience in SAP preferred Experience in Power BI is a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $89,000 – 130,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
