FINANCE ANALYST II
At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements. What your background should look like:

Knowledge
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
•    Two years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment
•    Experience in various financial disciplines (operations, cost, controlling, etc.)
•    Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; self-starter, motivated, independent thinker
•    SAP, and strong computer skills; proficient in Excel.
•    English written and spoken  

 

 

Essential Functions:
•    Complete product cost analysis as assigned by supervisor.
•    Standard cost maintenance. Support the cost roll reviews, validation and actual system roll.
•    Fixed assets control; monitoring, audits, tagging. 
•    Capital expenses tracking. Review and audit of “Construction in Process” account.
•    Elaborate and monitor weekly and monthly reports, such as earned hours, and manufacturing variances. Able to develop concise analysis and help to implement corrective actions with the operations team.
•    Support the development of business presentations, such as cost savings, operations review, plan, and forecast, quarterly business review, among others.
•    Assist the Budget and Forecast Preparation for all conversion cost items.
