**Job Title: Final PCB Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Final PCB Inspector for a temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate should have experience in final PCB board inspection, be IPC-610 certified, and possess the ability to identify solder balls, bridges, and polarity. Training will be provided for machine use in final inspection. The inspector will be responsible for inspecting purchased materials from suppliers and participating in calibration activities. Occasionally, they will assist in manufacturing inspection across various areas, including through-hole, surface mount, finished PCBA, and upper-level assembly. The role also involves following IPC and other industry standards to ensure compliance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect incoming products or components by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
+ Perform inspection using defined inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and CMM.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of IPC standards, including IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-A-600.
+ Capture and register inspection data using the required system.
+ Follow procedures when a non-conformance is detected, including actions appointed by the direct supervisor.
+ Participate in calibration activities for torque and ESD tools for approximately 4 hours per week.
+ Assist in manufacturing inspection areas as needed, including through-hole, surface mount, finished PCBA, and upper-level assembly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 1-year working experience in the industry or demonstrated equivalent competency.
+ Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
+ Organized and detail-oriented.
+ Quality-focused with a drive for continuous improvement.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum 1-year experience in electronic assembly, particularly with SMT and thru-hole operations.
+ Previous inspection or rework experience is an asset.
+ IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies).
+ Working knowledge of J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
+ Working knowledge of IPC-WHMA-A-620 (Requirement and Acceptance of Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies).

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
