**Job Title: Final Assembly Fabricator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Sheridan, Indiana. This role involves the final assembly of large CNC machines, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools. The assembler will spend the bulk of their time putting the machine together piece by piece after it is received from the weld shop, then performing the final quality steps including administering body filler, sanding, priming, painting and wrapping the product for shipment. Most of these machines are built custom, so the steps of the assembly are similar, but not completely repetitive. There is a long-term advancement opportunity to also learn how to wire the machines. **Responsibilities** + Assemble large CNC machines piece by piece after receiving from the weld shop. + Administer body filler, sand, prime, paint, and wrap the product for shipment. + Read and follow written and verbal work instructions. + Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the assembly process. + Use hand and power tools proficiently. + Work in heavy assembly environments, including heights, ladders, and confined spaces. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions. + High attention to detail. + Comfortable in a heavy assembly environment, including heights, ladders, and confined spaces. + Strong technical learning abilities. + Commitment to safety and quality standards. + Effective communication and teamwork skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. + Experience with field installation is also considered. + Ability to use tools such as allen wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and hand band saws. + GED or High School Diploma not required. + Ability to read blueprints (training provided). **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned business and a leader in shot blast equipment in the US and abroad. We provide PPE and tools as needed. **Work Environment** The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with limited overtime. The goal is to complete all required work within 8-hour days, with optional overtime if necessary. Our facility is temperature-controlled and typically plays music over speakers throughout the shift. PPE and tools are provided as needed, including work gloves, protective glasses, and hearing protection. Steel toe shoes are required and must be provided by the employee. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Sheridan, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
