Lead the team in integration, infrastructure, and capacity planning for FileNet/P8/BAW software and infrastructure on an AWS platform.
Responsibilities
• Resolve functional and technical issues with the FileNet/P8/BAW software.
• Create/maintain object stores, property templates, document classes, entry templates, search templates, choice Lists, event handlers and subscriptions, and other P8 assets using ACCE, configure Content Navigator, Workflow design and set up security for workflow/document classes.
• Work within the limit of purchased software licensing agreements. Run IBM utilities on a regular cadence to validate license counts.
• Monitor the FileNet/P8’s ecosystem’s performance based on reports and monitoring tools (AppDynamics) and make improvements to ensure the stability and performance of the ECM ecosystem.
• Set up critical system alerts and generate matrices using Splunk.
• Maintain/upgrade ICN, CPE, BAW and CMIS containerized installations on an EKS/AWS platform to keep the software current.
• Monitor the size of the object stores.
• Review performance test results to ensure SLA’s are met; provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support implementation of security requirements.
• Create and maintain design documents, runbooks, and “how to” procedures.
• Develop and maintain custom CE event handlers, custom PE components, and ICN Plugins using Java and JavaScript.
• Work in cooperation with IBM Support teams, Business partners, and IT staff (Developers, DEVOPS, Middleware Engineering, Intel team, Field Support, DBA’s, Performance testing Team, Project Managers, and Business Systems Analyst) to accomplish goals.
• Support critical issues with the FileNet/P8 software after business hours.
• Complete large-scale projects on schedule, within budget, and with high quality.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience with FileNet/P8/BAW (aka DBA Cloud Pak) configuration and administration along with experience developing in Java/J2EE.
• Certifications in FileNet/P8 are required.
• 3+ years of recent experience developing Java J2EE applications. Must be proficient in full-stack J2EE technologies including JMS, Web services, XML, SQL,SpringBoot, Spring Batch, Microservices, Python and JDBC.
• Must possess a very good understanding of FileNet/P8 architecture and have working experience on the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) suite of products, which includes IBM Content Navigator (ICN) Content Platform Engine (CPE), Case Foundation (CF), Business Automation Workflow (BAW), Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS), FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM), and Administrative Console for Content Platform Engine (ACCE) functions.
• Must possess experience maintaining and upgrading ICN, CPE, BAW and CMIS (both traditional on-prem and containerized installations on an EKS/AWS platform) to keep the software current.
• Experience using performance monitoring tools, such as AppDynamics.
• Experience in designing/creating Workflows using IBM technologies. Working experience in Java, JavaScript, and REST.
• Experience using reporting tools such as SPLUNK.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in DB2 or PostgreSQL in the context of P8.
• Experience scripting automated deployments for ECM assets using tools, such as Git/Jenkins.
• Eager to learn new technologies.
• Ability to develop/maintain custom CE event handlers, custom PE components, and ICN Plugins is a big plus.
• Certifications in AWS is a plus.
• Experience installing, configuring, and designing the IBM Enterprise Records (IER) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps and Tools such as Jenkins, Artificatory, GitLab etc.
• Experience in Kofax or other scanning and imaging technologies is a plus.
