Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager the Field technical support specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting customer equipment, including installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of Videojet devices located at our customer sites. This role requires building strong, trusted relationships with customers and providing expert guidance to address their needs. This position will be located in Morocco (ideally Casablanca, Rabat, or Sale).

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of printers and related equipment at customer sites across the North Africa region.

Provide remote technical support to distributor engineers for maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation tasks.

Conduct training sessions for customer engineers to enhance their technical expertise.

Support the sales team by assisting in their activities, including technical consultations and demonstrations.

Perform site surveys and evaluations as part of pre-sales activities to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

Build strong relationships with customers by providing reliable and professional technical support.

Act as a technical resource to ensure optimal performance of customer equipment and satisfaction.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum of 5 years technical customer support experience, preferably in marking or coding OR at a similar industry.

Experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair.

Able to travel up to 50% of time covering North Africa region (nights away from home).

English is a must. French is very much preferable.

Valid driver's license
