Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology is currently seeking a Field Support Senior Engineer in La Plata, MD. The selected candidate will have a current TS/SCI security clearance w/ CI Poly

Field Support Senior Engineer daily primary activities include:

Manages operations execution on a 24/7/365 operations floorCoordinates teams of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) with internal/external partnersManages COMSEC activitiesMonitors, documents, and reports overall operations integrity and successTroubleshoots operational support issues; proactively seeks resolutionCoordinates operational schedules with multiple agenciesSchedules local software/hardware implementation and test & evaluation activitiesReports security, personnel, or resource problems to Site Lead or Site Operations LeadParticipates in systems improvement development 

Additional Duties:

Facilities/secure area entry/shipment control manager outside of normal duty hoursDrafts technical correspondenceDelivers briefings to varied audiences

Required Qualifications:

Current TS/SCI w/ CI PollyIntelligence experienceBS + 5 yrs experience, or MS + 3 yrs experienceOutstanding communication and coordination skillsMicrosoft Office proficiencyAbility to work 12 hour shifts, 4-days on and 4-days off – transition night to day shift quarterlyAbility to multi-task and effectively lead teams of OEM technical experts
