As a Field Service Technician V, you will be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will use your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

Must-haves:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 10 years of relevant experience and 2 years of experience in a lead roleA higher-level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationAbility to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publicationsExperience with Tactical datalinks of RAF, RSAF, DOD, and NSA agencies.Advanced experience with the practical application of troubleshooting techniquesAdvanced electrical wiring skillsAbility to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of timeHands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computersCommunication and customer interface skillsWilling to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotationExperience with LinuxAbility to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locationsThorough understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systemsActive Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
