Field Service Technician (Minneapolis)

Insight Global is looking to hire on a full-time field service technician for one of our large industrial equipment manufacturers. As a service technician, you will troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. You will test and document the proper operating parameters of the equipment before and after preventative maintenance and repairs. Additionally, you will document all work performed daily using company-provided hardware and software. Developing rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism is essential. Practicing proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times will also be a key function to this role. Contributing to positive company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers while performing duties in accordance with companies standards is also required.
