Field Service Technician I

This position is required to be on-site, when not located in the field.

Field Service Technicians are responsible for collecting and and ensuring samples are delivered from the client to the laboratory for analysis. Their role is essential for ensuring accurate data and maintaining a safe work environment.

 

What you will do:
 

Load and unload products/goods efficiently and carefully and deliver to clients in a timely manner. Collect environmental samples and record field measurements per procedures established by company. Inspect company vehicle, including checking tire pressure, fluid, fuel, and reporting any issues immediatly prior to leaving on route. Communicate with dispatch team and contaqcting customers as necessary ahead of arrival. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Read route sheets thoroughly and plan trips with efficiency in mind. Obey rules of the road and company regulations at all times. Engage in physical labor (lifting, pulling, pushing) up to 50 lbs. Drive for extended periods of time (4+ hours daily). May be required to transport, maintain, and safely operate ATV‘s or UTV’s. What you will bring:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.   Have and maintain a mobile phone with the ability to receive calls and texts. Ability to work independently outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Exceptional time management, customer service, and communication skills required. Ability to work within an interactive team environment. Previous experience in environmental or agricultural industries a plus. Previous route driving experience preferred.
