Altaquip services over 100 manufacturer’s brands including Craftsman, Briggs & Stratton, Toro, Caterpillar, Husqvarna, Ariens, Generac, EGO, Greenworks and MTD, to name a few.

Field Service Technicians are responsible for helping the company provide an excellent and consistent service quality product through proper diagnosis, repair, warranty/non-warranty evaluation, cleaning, and documentation of each unit that is entered into our system for repair or refurbishment so that the customer is given an excellent service experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Repair all assigned units correctly, safely, and efficientlyTravel to repair location safely and efficientlyRegular preventive maintenance checks on vehiclesAccurately document all work performed to each unit on the work order for invoicingAccurately capture all product information required for proper warranty claim filingParts look up via computer as needed and maintenance of stock parts in repair truckRegular Inventory Counts

Qualifications

Valid US Driver’s LicenseAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to repair and maintain commercial fitness equipment such as Matrix, Precor, and Life FitnessAny certifications such as those offered by Life Fitness or Matrix are a plus

Working Conditions

Duties will be performed in a shop environment, on the road, or at client locationWalking, standing, bending, reaching, and squatting will be requiredThe ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed is requiredThe ability to safely drive to client locations is required

Targeted Pay Range is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, DOE.
