As our Field Service Technician, supporting the Bevcorp business unit– you will report to the Filler Field Service Lead. On a given day, you may: Performance maintenance and setup work on all products including, but not limited to, Capping, Filling, Seaming, and Blending machinery. Set up and adjust machines, in the field and in our facilities, to equipment specifications. Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically. Set up and adjust machines, in the field and in our facilities, to equipment specifications. Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically. Perform checks and setup of chucks and rolls. Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance. Install, commission, and set up products in customer facilities. Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines. Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting. Complete service reports. Provide training to customers and coworkers alike. Follow high-quality assembly practices while performing job responsibilities. Travel, sometimes nights and weekends, up to 100%, depending on location of team member residence. Schedule may fluctuate due to business need/priority, any change to schedule will be provided at least 2 weeks in advance. Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSO’s, Near Misses, etc.). Cross-training is an expectation and when applicable, provide training to customers and coworkers alike. When not traveling on a job, working and contributing to duties onsite at any Bevcorp facility is up to the managers discretion. Engage in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support our internal operations, led by the internal department leader. Requirements for the role 4-6 years of mechanical/electrical experience OR field service experience including working knowledge of Bevcorp products. Minimum two-year technical school training in related field. Basic computer skills - including iPad and smart phone, use of email, Word, Excel, etc. Intermediate level of experience with AUTO CAD Mechanical and Electrical. Experience serving customers and working as a team to achieve success. Experience working on Angelus seamers, Bevcorp Blenders or Fillers, CSI Capping,. Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry. Valid U.S. Driver’s License. You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Travel & Location This position is fully remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 100% of the time. Why work at JBT ...
