Division Specific Information
The Materials and Structural Analysis (MSD) Electron Microscopy (EM) business enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries and ultimately change the world. The MSD Electron Microscopy (EM) business designs, manufactures, and supports the broadest range of high-performance microscopy workflow solutions that provide images and answers in the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Field Service Engineers provide technical support and assistance, ensuring the efficient performance of equipment and systems. You will work directly with customers to address their needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and product efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
People management, development of assigned service teamInternal team communicationLeading and facilitating regular team meetingsRegular coordination with the sales and service teamEfficient staff schedulingHandle customer critical communication together with service managerEscalation managementParticipation in customer meetingsEnsure health and safety protocols are followedCoordination of technical and non-technical trainingSupport of the regional service managerinstallation planning and preparation, working with Regional Installation Project Manager (RIPM) and regional expertstake on field service activities typically 50% of normal working hours depending on the team sizeEducation
Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechatronics, electronics/engineering, or equivalent.Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
