Field Merchandising Manager

Job Description:

The Field Merchandising Manager is responsible for providing a premium customer experience to the assigned Cambria Business Partners by building relationships and driving a field merchandising strategy. This role will require collaboration with several cross-functional departments (Operations, Customer Care, Sales, etc.) and must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization.

This is a customer service centric role and will be responsible for fulfillment requests, such as product sample orders or assembling and delivering of product sample towers for an integrated, full circle experience to drive sales.

The territory you will support includes the Minneapolis Metro Area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Building and cultivating professional relationships:

Collaborate and effectively work cross functionally with Operations, Sales, Business Partner Services and Samples Fulfillment teams as well as external customersDrive strong relationships with Business Partners in assigned territories to develop merchandising plans that meet promotional standards and drive engagement with end usersEducate business partners and provide product knowledge materials that provides product value, quality, and history of the brandPropose merchandising investments for business partners to help drive salesInteract and build strong relationships with internal and external partners providing updates on the sales strategy and escalate issues when appropriate

Effectively servicing local business partners:

Schedule and deliver display units, samples, and other marketing assets to business partnersMaintain Business Partners’ display units to promotional standards that exemplifies cleanliness with accuracy of merchandise and is aesthetically presentableAccurately input and update customer information through Salesforce on a daily basisProvide samples for specific projects and update identified product libraries with all Cambria designs, marketing materials, and contact information

Accurately managing merchandise:

Set up and tear down assets at local home and trade shows, in collaboration with the Marketing teamPerform inventory management in partnership with Distribution Center Manager on a monthly basisComplete all data entry and paperwork associated with tracking of samples and merchandising assetsComplete housekeeping tasks internally and externally to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong business knowledge and financial acumenProven track record of being customer-focused with a professional demeanorAbility to build strong professional relationships and proven track records of salesExcellent communication and presentation skillsSuperior organization and follow-up skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyEntrepreneurial mindsetDemonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibilityMust be able to work out of their home as neededMust have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: Previous experience in customer service, inventory management or sales required (prior B2B or A&D experience is preferred)

Systems: Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software, Concur and Salesforce strongly preferred

Additional Requirements:

Travel Requirements: 90% local travel to customer retail locations using a company-supplied van. Some travel may to regional trade shows, associations and other Cambria locations as needed. Occasionally, overnight travel will be required.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials as well as have the ability to attend in person meetings.

The US base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $73,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education or training
