POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Field Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of the North American marketing team, helping to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and deal acceleration through events and webinars. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, strategy and execution of the field marketing plan. This position works closely with the broader marketing team, sales, product and customer success to drive programs (live and virtual) with the goal of generating quality leads, pipeline, and building customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Field Marketing:
Own the field marketing calendar with a focus on industry conferences, tradeshows, and proprietary events Identify and evaluate sponsorship opportunities and third-party events that match verticals and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP)Oversee booth design, content, and engagement strategies to enhance attendee interactions
Manage the planning, logistics and on-site execution of events and speaking engagements Form strong relationships with top industry organizations, associations, groups, vendors, and thought leaders Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing to secure buy-in, set goals, and identify new opportunities for regional success
Digital Programs:
Own the strategy and execution of webinars, driving thought leadership and lead generationWork closely with subject matter experts, customers, and partners to develop compelling webinar content
Manage end-to-end webinar logistics, including platform management, promotion, and post-event follow-up Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to generate ideas to drive webinar registration and audience engagement
Performance Measurement and Optimization:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of programsTrack and measure ROI, providing data-driven recommendations for future sponsorship investments Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, on the impact of field marketing efforts
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This role reports directly into the Director, Demand Generation
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & WORK TRAITS
An understanding of demand generation best practices, principles and tactics Experience managing events and conferences of all levels, as well as speaking engagements Demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple programs with self-sufficiency and agility Strong organizational skills Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence Travel as required, up to 20% of the time
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
5+ years of proven marketing experience in field marketing, event marketing and/or demand generation; B2B SaaS experience a plus Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce) and marketing automation (Pardot) Ability to work with marketing analytics tools to track performance, analyze data and generate insights Familiarity with data visualization tools to create meaningful reports and dashboards
