About The Role


CloudBees is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly-motivated Field Marketing Manager to lead both the strategy and execution of marketing activities in North America, West. We’re looking for someone who is data-driven, understands how to develop, own and drive pipeline generation strategies as well as build programs to accelerate sales cycles and close business. Reporting to the Director of NA Field Marketing, you will work closely with the regional sales teams and corporate functions to build and orchestrate campaigns and tactics for their ideal target customer.

We’re looking for a field marketer highly knowledgeable of the enterprise space, with a demonstrable track record of building, scaling, and executing field marketing programs, in partnership with sales, business development, channel, and marketing teams. You will develop a deep understanding of our buyer personas, target accounts, partners, customer advocates, and the value CloudBees brings to our customers and community. This is a high impact role and will drive awareness, demand, pipeline, and bookings and will suit someone who is goal driven, motivated and passionate above demand focused marketing.  


This position is 100% remote and will be based in CST, MST, or PST time zones and within one hour of a major airport.


What you will do:

Lead demand generation efforts to build, nurture and accelerate pipeline by driving awareness and engagement. There is a strong emphasis on net new logo growth for this roleBuild and deliver the marketing plan for the region, integrating 3rd party conferences, field events, ABM programs, and partner marketing activities that deliver maximum impact to generate new business and pipeline, drive cross sell/upsell opportunities, accelerate pipeline, and increase brand awarenessEvaluate and manage external vendors and third-party event sponsorship opportunities based on market reach and audience relevance.Act as the overall marketing lead for the region, coordinating with global and regional marketing teams to align strategies and execute region specific initiatives.Work proactively and collaboratively with the Marketing, Sales, Channel, and BD teams to execute a strong field marketing strategy that nurtures our pipeline from early to late stage and closed/won.Track, measure, and share the impact of every program, experiment, and failure (they happen!).Manage overall budget and spend to achieve individual, team and regional goals while delivering a significant return on investment and capturing the methodologies and success factors that we know close deals.Partner with the sales team and contribute to territory and account planning.Be an advocate for your region’s sales team and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities.Work closely with our channel partner team to build strong comarketing relationships within our technology and channel partners. The Partner Marketing strategy will include co-selling campaigns, 1st and 3rd party events, and regional field sales engagements.Leverage data to make intelligent, informed recommendations, decisions, and forecasts regarding our demand generation strategies, target account plans, and paid investments.Drive new levels of cross channel and integrated marketing and ensure our marketing activities are aligned and planned well in advance.Be agile as technology and DevOps is constantly evolving and changing, and sometimes may require a change in the region's marketing strategies or tactics. 

What we are looking for:

7+ years in Field Marketing experience, with 5+ years in B2B SaaSAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environmentMust have strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, an in-depth understanding of the marketing mix, a solid understanding of lead management processes, and experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive the business.Experience working with and supporting sales teams, developing trusting relationships and being a strategic business partner (this role aligns to approx. 10 AEs)Data-driven marketer with the ability to interpret reporting dashboards, identify gaps, and provide strategic solutions to reach quarterly goals. Must be competent in reporting results and trends to sales and marketing leaders.You have a track record of executing creative, impactful field marketing programs for executive and practitioner audiencesExceptional organizational and time management skills, with rigorous attention to detail.Team player who is great at solving complex problems with curious and creative mindsetHands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau (or other marketing automation and analytics tools).Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) to support events and company forumsA sense of humor, willingness to be your authentic self, and a deep belief in being human first is a big plus.
