Field HSE Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Health and Safety Advisor to join our operations in Grande Prairie and Dawson Creek areas, primarily focusing on the Ante Creek region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of multiple sites through daily travel, contractor oversight, safety coaching, inspections, and reporting.

ResponsibilitiesTravel between multiple sites throughout the day.Oversee contractors performing work to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Coach and mentor contractor safety personnel and site employees.Complete safety inspections and participate in project kick-off meetings.Observe and contribute to morning safety meetings.Report daily activities and incidents.Work on projects that are primarily brownfield, maintenance, or day-to-day operations.Essential Skills8+ years of heavy industrial HSE experience.Experience in overseeing heavy industrial construction, facility, or pipeline construction.Familiarity with BC safety regulations.Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe applications.H2S Alive certification.Intermediate first aid certification.WHIMIS 2015 certification.Incident investigation training (such as SCAT or Taproot).Additional Skills & QualificationsCRSP certification.Experience in construction, EHS management, safety management, oil and gas, facilities, and pipeline.Ownership of a truck with winter tires and passing inspection.2M insurance coverage.Possession of a laptop, gas monitor, and cell phone.Local to Grande Prairie or Dawson Creek (preferred).Previous management experience (preferred).Ownership of an ATV (with compensation of $150/day when used).Work Environment

This role is primarily on-site with a flexible schedule, ideally 5/2 but negotiable. Accommodation can be provided in camp or through hotel reimbursement. Travel expenses are covered at $1/km for mileage. The position offers the opportunity to work with a larger oil and gas company, providing a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $900.00 - $1100.00
