Fiduciary Risk Manager
Description The Fiduciary Risk Manager reports to the Fiduciary Governance Director and provides oversight for Huntington’s fiduciary programs and risk management practices within the Chief Fiduciary Office including conflicts of interest, compliance with Reg 9 and fiduciary transactional issues. The role requires a deep understanding of the fiduciary standard of care, Reg 9, interaction with senior management, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Responsibilities for the Fiduciary Risk Manager include: •Maintenance of fiduciary policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.•Maintenance of first-line fiduciary control environment to maintain the effectiveness of fiduciary risk management practices, policies, and procedures.•Works with key business partners and Segment Risk to identify and remediate fiduciary risk issues•Provide insights, advice and guidance to Advisors and other key business partners to support decision-making processes aimed at mitigating fiduciary risks and optimizing personal fiduciary business strategy.•Provide oversight of fiduciary activities by participating in fiduciary committees and meetings with senior trust management, Segment Risk, Internal Audit, and other key stakeholders, as needed. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree + 5+ Years Experience in Personal Fiduciary Services, Trust and Investment Management Preferred Qualifications: + Juris Doctor + Proven track record of exceeding expectations, goals and deadlines + Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with a wide range of leaders, Advisors and key business partners Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
