Job Overview

Cut/Grind Helms, Bows, and other small parts.to engineering specifications to ensure proper fitAssists in controlling material usage in designated areaOperates forklift, hoist as neededCheck parts for accuracy in thickness, size and cutout locationsResponsibilities include the following. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to pass respirator fit testAbility to read and understand Job DescriptionsAbility to work in a hot and dusty environmentHand Tool KnowledgeTypically requires high school education or GED equivalentKnowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposalWorking knowledge of procedures, instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality systemAbility to work in a hot and dusty environmentAbility to work in a ventilated suit for dust control

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Must possess the desire and ambition to always work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediatelyMust understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agenciesMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators etc.Must be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, pass spirometer test and physically wear a respirator where requiredMust be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, spending working hours on your feet, etc.Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.

Shift: Must have the availability to work 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday.  Overtime will be required on Friday based on scheduling needs. Brunswick reserves the right to adjust shifts and work times as business needs evolve. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
