Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fellow, Social Work.

In this role, the successful candidate the NYU Social Work Post-Masters Fellowship is a two-year program for New York State licensed social workers (LMSWs). The Fellowship provides advanced training for social workers interested in becoming highly effective clinicians and potential leaders in the field of clinical social work.This program offers an intensive immersion in therapeutic work with adults and couples and includes instruction in a range of therapeutic modalities and evidenced-based treatments. Fellows will receive extensive instruction through a combination of group and individual supervision, structured classes and seminars, weekly case conference and grand rounds. Fellows will see a range of clients in the two years of the program, and will complete many if not all of their hours towards the clinical and supervisory requirements for the LCSW exam in New York State. The Fellowship is a salaried program, providing a competitive compensation package including Top Tier insurance benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

Evaluating new patients with in-person and written feedback in a timely manner.Providing evidence based psychotherapeutic treatments to individual, couples and group modalities.Will establish proficiency in diagnosis and the psychosocial aspects of impairment; use of standardized screening instruments (e.g. PHQ-9, GAD7); providing short-term and long-term psychotherapy, patient-centered treatment planning.Providing community outreach (webinars, workshops, etc.)Participate in formal didactics and training workshops. These include attendance at weekly grand rounds, case conference, weekly didactics, etc. Attend and participate in weekly individual and group supervisions.Manage a caseload, under the supervision of an LCSW, with a metric of 20 patients in the first year.Completes additional responsibilities and performs other duties, as required.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a NYS OP License as a Licensed Master Social Worker. Master's Degree.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,000 - $67,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
