Job Duties:
+ Updating the department website
+ Creating graphics for the department’s social media channels, video boards and website
+ Photography and videography of department events
+ Monitoring news sources for mentions of department faculty and students
Expected Salary:
$15/hour
Minimum Requirements:
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and have a valid Federal Work-Study (FWS) permit. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. Must have a Federal Work Study work award for Fall 2024 semester.

+ Demonstrated interest in the communications field and scientific research
+ Experience with (or the desire to learn): website maintenance using a content management system (CMS)
+ Basic graphic design experience
+ Videography and video editing experience
+ Photography and photo editing experience (may require local travel in state vehicle)
+ Confident with verbal and written communication
+ Possess strong organization skills
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
+ Valid Driver’s license

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity
