Qualification:

Bachelor - in science, engineering or equivalent

Salary and Other Compensation:

The base annual salary for this position is between $[110– 130,000+] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Applications will be accepted until 10/3/2024.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Qualifications/ Job Family Description:

Positions in this function create and deliver high quality system solutions for our applications, products, and services across all technology functions, with a focus on Enterprise Fax, eSignature, and Captiva OCR (Optical Character Recognition). They consult with users and technology specialists to define business processes and the information systems for supporting those processes. Individuals in these roles may perform analysis and serve as business liaisons to understand and refine business requirements. They provide technical support in developing systems that are cost effective and meet users’ requirements. This function works to create systems that work together in a cohesive manner, enforcing standards and methods consistently across the enterprise. Roles may support both current system improvements and maintenance along with new system development.

- Assists with identifying gaps for groups being onboarded to the company.

- Serves as liaison to business and technology teams.

Job Scope and Guidelines

· Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and creating comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications supporting various business channels.

· This position understands how organizations function to accomplish their purpose and defines capabilities an organization requires to provide a service or meet their goals.

· Facilitates communication between organizational units to align the needs of business units to create requirement work products for solution providers.

· Plans, directs and completes the analysis of business problems to be solved or product/services to be developed for delivery.

· Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

· Assesses system impacts, provides gap and process analysis as well as cost/benefit analysis for system or product/service-related initiatives.

· Acts as liaison between the user community and internal IT resources. Plans, facilitates, and participates in working sessions with cross-functional resources.

Anticipates customer needs and proactively identifies solutions to meet them.
